Os elogios a Trabalho de Campo, de Joachen Lempert (Culturgest, Lisboa, 2009) não se ficam por Portugal. A última edição da revista Aperture dedica uma crítica à exposição programada por Miguel Wandschneider. Os elogios sucedem-se. Brian Sholis chama-lhe uma "revelação imprevista" e termina assim:

“ (...) Far from being mere ´nature studies`, Lempert`s photographs are evidence of an artistic sensibility compelled to wrest order from circunstance, and, through the tight control of progression, variation, focus, scale, and exposure, to make of this order something enchanting.”
